Adaptable Living Furniture Ranges

Transition seemlessly between large and smaller living spaces with

CL&L best selling ranges now available in various sizes

In 2020, we saw the inevitable merge of home and work environments. With that top of mind, it only seemed right that the passionate buying team at CAFE LIGHTING & LIVING refocus their leading product designs to be more approachable across even more interior spaces and styles. Standing by the company mission of delivering happiness to the wider Australian market.

Focusing on best selling ranges, the buying team have adapted the designs of over fifteen ranges spanning across six product categories from bedside tables to console tables, chest of drawers to buffets and even coffee tables. Heston, Soloman, Plantation and even the newest addition to the catalogue Balmain have recently welcomed their varying sized counterparts, received very well by the interior market.

The marketing team caught up with Head Buyer Stephanie Musumeci to delve a little deeper into the buying philosophy on two of the newest adaptable living ranges; Soloman and Balmain.

Clean contemporary lines are furnished with a touch of classic shaker drawer paneling and
an elegant satin white painted finish.

Q: How did adaptable living refocus your design concepts
of the Soloman Range?

Soloman was designed for the interior loving community that love clean, contemporary lines brought out by classic shaker panelling. Adaptable living was top of mind, when redesigning the Soloman Console Table to a smaller, more versatile design.  Weighing less than it's larger counterpart, the smaller console table still allows for sleek, hidden storage but in a 2 drawer design rather than three.

This simple redesign sees the Soloman Console Table Range transition seemlessly into larger and
smaller interior spaces, living rooms, hallways while also considering shop front window space and boutique homewares stores.

The first of many exciting products launched in 2020, the Balmain Buffet - Large sold out of it's first shipment before landing on Australian shores.

For lovers of all things light and fresh..
The Balmain buffet brings a handsome sophistication to your space with classic shaker panelling in a painted oak veneer finish.

Q: The Balmain Buffet Sold Out before hitting the Australian shore,
did that have an impact on the 2 door design?

I couldn't believe how well the Balmain range was first received in the interior market. I guess, it was a reflection of our
brand's reputation of quality products. Interior stylist's from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane purchased these products for
their projects without physically viewing it. That's when I knew classic shaker panelling was a trend our customers
loved as much as we did. First with the Soloman Range and then with Balmain.

Did it have an impact? Balmain was designed to sit comfortably within both a contemporary or classically styled environment.  So yes, it's popularity meant adapting the design to a two door version still with the clean firm lines and sleek storage.. the same as it's other furniture counterparts.
